Reports
How the business did over a period, compared with the period before, and reports to download as CSV or PDF.
Period and filters
- Pick the period at the top: this or last month, quarter, or financial year (April to March), all time, or a custom range.
- Every headline figure is compared with the period before, the same way as on the dashboard.
- Filters narrows the figures to some salespeople or to Business or Individual customers. Expenses and GST always cover the whole business.
- Every chart has View as table for the exact numbers.
The tabs
| Tab | What it shows |
|---|---|
| Overview | Net sales, expenses, sales less expenses, and what is owed to you; sales and expenses over the period; top customers and best-selling items. |
| Sales | Net sales, number of invoices, average invoice, credit notes and discounts; sales over time against the period before; sales by salesperson with what has been collected. |
| Collections | Money received; average days from invoice to payment; how much of the period's invoices is settled; invoiced against received; payment methods; the slowest payers. |
| Customers (Growth) | Customers billed; new customers; share of sales from returning customers; share from your top five; top customers with what they owe; sales by state. |
| Items (Growth) | Product and service sales; estimated margin from your items' purchase costs; top items with quantity, average price, discount and margin; HSN/SAC summary. |
| Expenses | Spend; GST paid on purchases; unpaid bills; spend over time; spend by category and by supplier. |
| GST | Tax on sales less credit notes, less tax on purchases, as a summary and month by month. |
| Estimates | Value quoted; win rate (accepted out of accepted and declined); estimates still open; value turned into invoices. |
| All reports | Every downloadable report, grouped. |
Good to know: GST figures and the profit estimate come from your Biththi records only. They don't account for input tax you can't claim, reverse charge or stock still on hand. Check them with your accountant before filing.
Downloading reports
- Step 1: In Reports, open All reports, or use the report links at the bottom of a tab.
- Step 2: Choose a report. It opens on the period you picked; change the period at the top if you need to.
- Step 3: Choose Download CSV for a spreadsheet, or Save as PDF to print it or save it from the print dialog.
- Files are named after the report and its dates, for example sales-register_2026-04-01_2026-10-04.
- CSV files open in Excel with amounts as numbers, so you can add them up.
- Wide reports print in landscape. Each report ends with a totals row.
- Reports marked As of today show where things stand now and ignore the period.
- On Starter, reports marked Growth show but can't be opened. See Plans.
