How Biththi works on a small screen, and how to install it as an app.
Getting around
- The bar at the bottom has Home, Invoices, New, Customers and More.
- New creates an invoice, estimate, payment, customer, expense or item.
- More has everything else: Estimates, Receivables, Suppliers, Expenses, Items, Reports, Settings, your profile, help, the theme switch, Install app and Sign out.
- Jewellery organizations see today's metal rates in a strip under the top bar.
Forms
- The main actions, such as Save draft and Save, or Print and Record payment on an invoice, are in a bar at the bottom of the screen.
- Less frequent actions, such as Clone, Favorite and View history, are under the ⋯ button at the top.
- Invoice and estimate lines become cards you can open and close, so every field fits without scrolling sideways.
- Amount and quantity fields open the number pad.
Install Biththi as an app
- In Chrome or Edge: More > Install app, or the browser's own install option.
- On an iPhone: open Biththi in Safari, tap Share, then Add to Home Screen.
The installed app opens to the dashboard in its own window. It needs a connection: without one it shows an offline page, and nothing you type is saved until you're back online.
Scanning barcodes
- On an item, the scan button next to SKU reads a barcode with the camera.
- On an invoice, Scan item adds the item whose barcode, SKU or tag number matches.
- On a computer, a USB barcode scanner works by typing into the field.
